Community Reporters

One of the outcomes of the multi-media journalism training is for you to join our team of Community Reporters.

Community Reporting means having an ear to the ground to bring local news stories national significance. They might be broadcast on radio, television or on social media platforms.

We will provide work-based training, mentoring and critical feedback so that you are proud of your skills and the news stories you produce.

We will alos put you in contact with other media services: National Indigenous Radio Service (NIRS), National Radio News (NRN – CBAA), ABC, NITV and Koorie Mail.

The Training Manual has links to a range of training resources that you can view at any time when producing a story.
